Description
Fantasy world. One of them worlds like Harry Turtledove's "Case of the Toxic Spell Dump" book (or, for that matter, Terry Pratchett's Discworld series) in which Gods are maintained and empowered by belief. Quick and dirty, done for a wee map contest on ah.com.Related content

Weird. I'm now imagining syncretism between Kabbalah and indigenous Meso-American religions.

To be honest, this would make for a much more epic backdrop for the conquistadores.

Interesting, the reality of gods/spirits would obivously greatly weaken or nullify THE major advantage that Europeans had over aboriginals world wide (namely diseases like small pox). Also the difficulty the Spainish would have in dealing with jungle terrain, there are few of them, they are very far from home and you don't take the lords name in vain (not to mention most Conquistadors weren't very good christians), would mean many Mayan's and the Amazon jungle civilizaion(s) would be less than impressed by the Christian god while possibly strengthing there own faith.
