Description Okay, a take on the popular Kaiserreich game setting. I have made a few modifications here and there - I'm assuming that Britain goes Fascist Lite after the war, which radicalizes the Left, but full blown revolution doesn't break out until the economy tanks in the late 20s, after the government rather overreacts to understandable discontent and protest. (French communist takeover unlikely, French and British takeover very unlikely, so I need to give the British more incentive) So I've pushed the date up to 1939, to give the British Revolution some more time to settle in.

The US revolution - well, I've assumed a butteflying of Roosevelt's career so he doesn't make it as a candidate in '32, so things can get properly grim by '36. I then assume a political understanding between Roosevelt
's democrats and John Reed's Marxist/Syndicalist/Socialist union, because he's not an idiot and realizes that in a showdown with the far-right Unionists, the rump Republicans, and the Democrats, his gang will be trampled underfoot. Of course, the Unionists and Republicans (and some conservative Democrats) are not happy at all, and after a narrower win than OTL '32, there is an attempt to prevent the new President from being officially inaugurated, and things go downhill from there...

I am also assuming that the US and Japan won't stand still and let Germany grab _all_ the goodies when England falls to revolution, and that Russia hasn't fallen into revolution yet (it complicates things, and anyway I have sympathy for the poor abused Russians). And there are a few other changes here and there which the well-informed reader will spot.

In any event, it is 1939, war was coming, and a new wave of Left-wing revolution threatens...

A very informative and neat map for the "Kaiserreich" scenario.
I really like althistory map which show the world divided into various global and regional powers with internal and external conflicts instead of just a few massive blocs taking shots at each other.
"Kaiserreich" with your little changes seems like a believable "If the central powers had won..." aftermath.
The internal revolutions in Britain, France, Italy and the US left aside,  Germany´s  insanely ambitious hegemonial plans as well the massive internal problems of the other central powers are a recipe for "Won the war, lost the peace".
Plus the prolonged existence of independent Georgia, Turkestan, Alash Orda, a Cossack state and Sternberg´s Mongolia is an idea used too rarely.

Good! Just remember, you have to get the game Darkest Hour, because the Kaiserreich scenario is a mod and web download, and there are two versions - an older one that function with the regular game, or an updated one released just some months ago that is only compatible with the new beta release which you can get for free once you purchase said game on Steam.

I don't play one all the time, but I have done games as a social-democratic Russian Empire, the USA without falling to MacArthur, Canada (in which I reclaimed the Isles) and a Totalist Union of Britain so far. I'll branch out even further and begin a Germany game when summer break begins.

I feel like my dealer has just let me sample a new strain for free and it's like someone beating the shit out of my brain, but in a good way.

Also in the KR canon Roosevelt was assassinated in '35 after losing the 1932 election, his sympathy with the CSA alienated a bunch of Southern Democrats.  Though your idea that he would make alliances with the Syndicalists is pretty spot on.  I assume he's won the Civil War judging from the rather large red held south.
