Well, this is the current state in development of my gigantic Apple IIe computer!
I got one of these for my recently past birthday, so in commemoration of the glorious piece of equipment, I made this with a little help from my friends.

Sweet! The same kind of computer I got started on. Those I used had newer drives with the very distinctive startup sound though.
I doubt this graphic is of an enhanced IIe though, what with the look of what's on the screen. Those with enhanced ROMs, at least those that had them originally show "Apple //e" on startup. Those that were upgraded, not sure.

Actually, I've got me IIe next to me right now!
Still runs, works like a charm. Quite a few of my disks are a bit buggered, however.
I think my AppleWorks disk still loads, though! Same with an old Vernier graphing package.

Yep, there's a "SMP" version of this mod. (server need to have the mod installed, and the client too (I don't know if the client who not have the can be connected or not... ))

I wish that I had the BASIC disk, at the moment I have the VisiCalc, the Apple Writer, and the AppleWorks disks.
This thing is amazing! Oh, and if you know of anyone with a DOS or BASIC disk, lemme know.

you're in luck. i know someone that would more than likely have a BASIC disk. (has has a shit tone of old Atartis, Commodores, and [iirc] and Apple II)
