This was originally meant to celebrate Odaiba Memorial Day on August 1st, but I'm a little too late.

I got into Pokemon and Digimon at roughly the same time, but I became a little too obsessed with the latter once I entered middle school. Digimon was such a vital part of my younger years [It's funny, I learned about a lot of different things when I was younger because of Digimon]. I drew a shit load of Digimon stuff back then, so the more I drew it, the more I wanted to see myself improve.

I decided to keep my OC in the redraw as a kind of gift to my younger self [and it's not a coincidence that she looks like a mashup of Sailor Jupiter and Misty from Pokemon, lol]. I know my 12-year-old self would have been extremely elated to see how close to the show's style I managed to emulate.

In all honesty, I'm not extremely hyped for Digimon Adventure Tri, but I'd still give it a chance anyway. Regardless, I owe a lot to this series about kids partnering up with digital monsters, and this is my tribute to it.
