Description
I have sat at your mercy,And the tongue that you speak,
Was altered for the benefit
Of others.
On your table I feast
Yet your words don't touch my lips
And dark crawls the slender sleep
In disdained silence.
For you and for you only,
The hand rises and falls.
The dust on which my feet will land
Is untouched by your glory
Is pain the only road that leads
The ones astray from harm
Then what is a hand of no one
To the void of others?
I have wished for your window
And I have broken mine instead
No reason is good enough
For me.
