Physical appearance: Aldebull is one of the many species of quadrupedal, bovine pokemon, alongside Tauros, Miltank, and Bouffalant. Its most prominent features are a pair of brass horns that sprout from its head and diverge outward that function as an aural and respiratory instrument. The same brass appears on Aldebull's nostrils and hooves; indeed, there is an internal system inside of Aldebull that regulates the flow of air from its horns and hooves to the rest of its body. The horns are made of brass alloy and exert a large weight onto the rest of the pokemon, so it has adapted to its current, top-heavy proportions. Despite its anatomy, Aldebull is still lopsided; brass is not a very strong metal, so its hooves would bend out of line if it were solely flesh and brass. A more rigid metal such as steel or a more fibrous carbon would seem more plausible for Aldebull to contain tension between its upper body and narrow legs.
Outside of its brass highlights, Aldebull has a thick hide coated in off-white hairs with perpendicular bands of black across the top half of its body. The hairs are abrasive to the extent that they can scrape bark off of trees or erode soft rocks. At the end of its body is a short, zigzagged tail, which tenses and contracts when it becomes active and elongates and flattens whenever Aldebull relaxes. It appears only to indicate the pokemon's mood, being useless for self-balance.

Habitat and diet: Aldebull are found in open plains, where there is an abundance of grass for the species to consume. Unlike other bovine pokemon, it is tolerant of colder temperatures, so it finds a niche in polar biomes. A benefit to living in these areas is the prominence of inorganic substances. In something as simple as dirt exist multitudes of minerals and, while Aldebull do not consume it intentionally, trace amounts of metal from uprooted plants add to its composition. Additionally, the array of colors in such regions, in contrast to the warmer tones of tropical grasslands, make Aldebull's prominent pale color surprisingly inconspicuous among the rugged terrain.

Behavior: Aldebull are thought of, like their counterparts, as always being in a rage. That can become true if they are in battle, but they will only charge and stomp at foes as a last resort. Their horns, despite being metallic, can suffer large dents through being used as rams. Like bone, their horns can grow and reform their shape, but that does not mean they will reform properly. An aggressive Aldebull can be discerned by its lumpy and dull horns, while a peaceful one will have smooth and polished ones. Most Aldebull are naturally calm and rarely blare their horns. Instead, they create quiet, bass frequencies that are said to be calming; according to trainers in polar plains, though, such noises can be frightening if they are unaccustomed to their ontology.
In the wild, Aldebull are nomadic and travel in herds. There is a 'leader' in herds, but the rest of the herd have no caste system. The leader solely guides the herd toward new lands to graze in, and the rest of the herd settle disputes by themselves. Each member of a herd communicates to other members by producing a unique noise from its horns from adjusting the noise's amplitude, pitch, and duration. If multiple Aldebull communicate simultaneously, the tones can produce resonance or discord, and it appears that agreement corresponds to harmony in tonal interference. This may also confuse or render peace to trainers hearing this.
Aldebull are naturally attracted to music, and trainers use this to their advantage to capture one. They are not fond of harsh battles, but they love contributing their sounds to an orchestra of any sort. They require little maintenance, as their bristly hairs do not cling to dirt, and they require little more than grazables as food. They are a rather social species, though; an Aldebull dropping into melancholy will loudly sound its horns, which can be ameliorated by humming, playing a tune, or general interaction.

Oh, my, I never intended to flesh out this design, but I had discovered a two-layered pun that fit this design. It started with 'audible' and 'bull', a common mingling of words for a pokemon name, but then I remembered that I'd mix up 'megaphone' and 'bullhorn' to get 'megahorn', and then I remembered that 'Aldebaran' could work to blend the name together. It all fit, and I ended up with a cartoonish design that is supposed to be a bull.

The concept of pokemon belongs to Game Freak. I do not own it, but simply take some portions of it to inspire my own imagination.
