Description
I took a 3D animation course over this semester, and I decided to use Cawmodore (from Smogon's Create-a-Pokemon Project) as my choice of model. The funny thing is that I forgot to remove the extra end frame in this set of renders, so there's a repeated frame in there! I actually forgot about it for the entirety of the render process and only noticed it when I combined the GIFs. It probably doesn't harm, since it's not that noticeable and, to my eyes, removing the frame worsens the animation. o3o
Cawmodore's design belongs to Magistrum .

It might be in the drive for the CAP Modeling Project, if you're interested in heading over to Smogon.

Not really, unless you want to fund a new laptop and software for making models like these. :S

You can do it all in Blender or Maya. The former is completely open to use, and Maya is free for educational purposes. I started with what was pretty much a crash course in 3D animation and learned using the myriad of resources available online (and some resources from my classes)!

You really should do it if you ever have any extra time. It seems like it would be a lot of fun to make one. I don't have high skills so I could never do it.

Wow, this is really impressive. I find it so cool how people are managing to replicate the style of models in X/Y. I can tell you spent a lot of time on this and it really shows!

Thank you. I put a lot of time into it! I learned more formally how the 3D pipeline works, so it's good knowledge for future endeavors.

Interesting stuff.
Not to bother you about this, but would you be interested in helping out with Crucibelle's Prevo process, assuming it even gets one? I'm going to help out, especially where art designs are applicable.
