I felt like spriting something closer to my style than the previous Gen. V-styled sprites I've been submitting, so I sketched a Braixen and made pixel lineart. Then I decided to experiment with shading, drawing the colors closer to a distance shadow instead of working with colors independently, and that, accompanied by my regular art style, produced this work. It was a fun experiment!
I kinda wish it was used on drawing something I was less familiar with so I could have experience with that. Oh, well. Fiery foxes work as well.I always feel like I should remind whoever sees these images that my sprites are made, for the most part, 99% in MS Paint. This piece is made 100% in MS Paint. 34 colors without the background, as a trivium.
Braixen's design belongs to Game Freak; I do not own it.
