Dear quargon, it's a fact that this outfit is too badass to not being honoured in a badass cosplay.
So my friend and I wanted to ask for your permission to try the impossible and cosplay the Countess and the Maiden!
We only have less than a month left for the next convention but we would give our BEST to picture the armor and the adorable (and fancy and difficult) outfits!!
Also, uhm...if we have any questions about closer details in design or the material you had in your mind, would it be possible to just ask without bothering you?

Even though I hate photobashing, it looks really good in your stuff, I hope the faces arent too heavily on the photo side

i appreciate the feedback. i think photobashing is a means to an end and helps sell the character design i had in mind. it also takes a looong time to make photos look unified and change them to fit a design, so i wouldnt sell it short
but i'm glad you like it

I know it's not exactly easy and I know what you mean, I still feel it's a little less impressive, I mean it's a way to get your idea out there but I would find it hardly impressive if someone just put together a bunch of pages from the Vogue (magazine) and painted a few lines on top.Β
I would like you to trust more in yourself maybe, use the photos as reference, it's not that much harder, I mean you're not a concept artist after all

i agree yea, technical skill wise it's definitely not up there with painting from scratch. when i've been practicing a few more years and my painting skills are way better, maybe i'll post more haha. but as long as you're having fun making the art, then that's one of the most important things really

thank you! i manipulated photos and painted over to harmonize them. rendering isn't may favourite thing haha, so this technique was a fun way to get a more realistic look

Her chest plate is very cool. I like how the hands are gently put against her neck. It gives it creepy, yet beautiful twist. Β Very nice character. :-D
