I thought this [link] sounds fun so I tried making my own character so lets see if he gets accepted(I think his outfit might be a little too modern...)

anyway... stats:

his name is Yaro which his African father gave him. it means "son" in african. Yaro often refers too himself as "the blue tiger" though but I'll get back too that.
like I said he has an african father(how he ended up in japan is unknown since he never told Yaro) and a japanese mother. he lives in a small village up in the mountains. Though being slightly lazy Yaro is very outgoing and cheerfull and he thinks of himself as a lady charmer and often shows-off a lot when a cute girl is watching (This has offcoruse resulted in a lot of embarrasment). Despite his very confident behaviour he gets very shy and unsure as soon as a girl hits on him. therefore he has no girlfriend and has even gained a rather unlucky status as the clown of the village which bothers him a LOT. as a result when he heard about the SDL tournament he left to join in as a search for fame and thereby the respect from the women of Japan.

fighting style - He is very very fast and therefore he bases his self made fighting style on this. he is very acrobatic also which he uses when it comes to unarmed combat. he has neither had any training in fighting with spears but shows great talent. his strength is his speed and agility

weapon: before joining the tournament Yaro realised that he needed a weapon. So he went to the nearest town who had a blacksmith to buy one. since his favourite color is blue he quickly feel in love with the bluish decorated spear. though the spear was just something the blacksmith had done for laughs he told yaro that it was a very special spear called "mizuiro"(means "light blue") that gave the wielder great power. Yaro being very gullible belived him and bought the spear without a haggle.
after this Yaro started to refer to himself as "the blue tiger" (blue dragon is so cliché in his mind...)
since a wielder of a famous spear like mizuiro needs a strong and fearsome name!

it was founded by Yaros first opponent mishka[link] who forced Yaro to join so he could advertise and such for the team's products in order to pay for insulting her.
