Oh my, I never expected you would be familiar with my work! O: I'm absolutely in LOVE with Namtas, but I'm surprised you have time for anything else at all! Just looking at the details in those pages makes my jaw drop, and even though I don't follow Yu-Gi-Oh I enjoy your other pictures as well. With those long legs, Louis looks like he could stand on his deck and kick the underside of the crow's nest!
I saw the change of James's pants to grey and just thought, "Yes, yes, yes!" Perfection achieved! Love his boots too.
Santiago has come a long way in a relatively short amount of time and yet he looks as though he was developed right alongside Louis and James. Bravo!
Well done! Even with these snippets it's clear how each man would react and move - Louis favors flexibility and agility; Santiago prefers raw brute strength; and James is a mix of both brawn and dexterity.
Thank you so much for sharing these progressions with us. Can't wait to see the finished animation - or even just stills! Excellent, excellent work!

Draw from life and photo references to understand proportions and faces or animals, etc. before trying to stylize it is my best advice. I spent most of my life drawing from life before I started to go into cartoons.

I never stopped. I'm not even kidding when I say I draw every day, and it's not just because I like it, but it's because I want to keep practicing to get better. That, or I'm a freak of nature. Everyone has off-days. There are plenty of sketches of mine that never see the light of DA because they're pretty crappy to my standards.
