How humiliating... I just came from holidays and used the time on the plane to draw some Mass Effect stuff on my notepad. "Be gentle with me?" Your "sketches" look like Michelangelo's work comapred to mine...

Keep at it. Turians are bloody hard to draw.

Sorry for my previous standoffishness, I was getting a lot of misplaced submissions that day.

They are tough buggers to draw, aren't they?

Great sketches! Wow, you did this WITHOUT any references? OMG you're really good!
Also, if you still want to create a Turian OC, DO IT. I'm sure everyone will love your OC

Oh. It's already too late for the ignoring part xD (But I wasn't able to decipher everything anyway, so meh.)
For not using references they look fine to me though (OK, apart from the gun, but as I fail at drawing guns from scratch myself I'll just shut it there ... )

Man I hate drawing guns and mechanics, hence so little Mass Effect fanart because I need a bajillion references to draw anything.

Yeah. I hear ya. (I actually love drawing scifi stuff, I'm just totally unable to ^^)

I prefer organic life forms - Medieval ages are so much easier for me, less mechanical parts and more ... flowy things. And the most difficult weapon to draw is a crossbow. Hell yeah.

I never actually tried to draw one xD But I'll take your word on that.
I completely agree anyway, scifi stuff mostly needs to be so clean and accurate, and I'm just messy by nature ^^

Scifi means you need to make it look like you have some idea of how physics and mechanics and all that work, an illusion I am very bad at creating.

hah. Yeah. One reason why I've never gotten into scifi fanfiction, although I like the idea itself ...
