Even though you completed this, I would love to see their thingies switched.
But it does make sense for Ness to be the moon.
For the fact that he had to sacrifice his body to defeat Giygas.
But in my theory... *SPOILER*
He might have truly died after defeating Giygas. All that happened next was just a dream. Its impossible for a body to survive without a brain, and his body just happening to be on the floor. Without a brain.

I really loved the change you did with Ness and Lucas, Ness being the moon makes me think of Moonside and Lucas is a brilliant young sun. Feels much more appropriate.

Ness is often represented as the more happy one while Lucas is more the sad one. You switching around those roles to show the sad part of Ness and the happy part of Lucas is a very interesting idea and something not often seen. Good job for that!
