Description
Sinnoh: This is generally a fan favorite from the "old style" (aka pre-big-and-bright-eyed-Ash), basically the grand finale to the OS. Some really good fillers, surprisingly, but many episodes have a somewhat lacking animation. I don't know the others, but I sincerly wouldn't give Dawn a togekiss, it felt...wrong. Same for the trade, aipom/ambipom basically lost all its appeal with Dawn, while buizel actually shone with Ash. If anything, a gallade would be better to Dawn. For Ash...honestly, they should just have given him the damn lucario, if only to stop a decade worth of many fans adamantly ranting about "Ash will have a riolu/lucario this time" everytime a riolu/lucario appears (still love Ash's Sinnoh team until this day, though). Anyway, if Houenn was the Dragon Ball of Pokemon, Sinnoh sure was the Dragon Ball Z. I'd discuss Kalos was the Dragon Ball Super, but it remembered me quite other franchise...Unova: What is this? To me, Ash just happened to have a bunch of 5ΒΊ gen pokemon one day, between Sinnoh and Kalos. To the hell with Unova.
Kalos: Mostly a great saga, independent of the tsunami of salt that a bulk of the fandom was flooded because of the league. If I could change something, it would be give Serena more solo battles and don't make her such a doormat with Miette's pranks. At the beginning of the saga, Serena was sure kind, but she wasn't docile with who irritated her. Different of what many people thinks, her crush on Ash actually added a sweet layer to her personality, and even allowed Ash to show a more gallant side of him that we generally don't see. It was cute, heartwarming, even. And, really, I heard enough the same "Ash is a battle drone" schtik by the Sinnoh times to know nothing can pleases everyone, but Kalos made wonders as a saga, at least to me. Definetly, the Digimon of the pokemon sagas. The releases were the only down side, I'd at least give Ash another mon (girl meowstic, in this case), so he wouldn't have to go back to home with only three flying types. Man, I miss greninja...
Alola: Well, here we are. The first region where Ash actually won an official league. I confess the excessive slapstick turned me off of many episodes that weren't about captures and battles (which Alola sparingly had, but the moment it happens, they deliever awesomely), Ash being an iron butt-monkey in 95% of the show wasn't my cup of tea and I'm sure as hell I didn't need to see Brock, Misty and jigglypuff as much as I wanted an Oak ranch episode just with Ash meeting his old pokemon. But, in general, I'm more tolerant to Alola than I was to Kanto, Johto or Unova. I think Ash's character had a very necessary renovation. I do question why make the four trial captains in companions/classmates, but they did good (except for Mallow, that barely was useful, and Lana, that was the writers' pet for...reasons). In general, Alola was truly the Monica's Gang of the show. Kinda lacking about the fact Ash's team was mainly about starters and event mons. I'd give him a drampa if only because I like the thing. For some strange reason, Ash hadn't a water type while he was basically living in the poke-Hawaii... also, from who was the great idea of let all his Alola squad with Kukui? Meh. Points for Kukui and Burnet being better parents to Ash than Delia.
Too early to talk about the new show, by the way.

Yeah, Unova was... disappointing.
Sinnoh the Dragon ball Z of Pokemon?
Sorry, your picture of it makes me crack up.
I both love Kalos and Alola for different reasons. Action and style, characters... each done their own way, each really good when you stop comparing them and trying to say which is best.

I know, right? I do really hate how you apparently can't enjoy both because there's always some guys insisting that one is better/worse than the other.

Fans. There's war for even the slightest detail.
So, did you know Ash's participation and victory in the Alola League and posterior exhibition battle apparently reference his previous League defeats?

Nope. He won, that's enough to me.

I checked your gallery and your art is very neat too. I generally prefer water colors, color pencils even, since I'm not that good with markers (still trying until learn it, though).
