Niohime, by most just called Nio, is a travelling Swordswoman looking for bounty-quests or anything related to slaying any kind of monster, beast or foe. Always looking for a challenging opponent, her travels have bring her far away from home. It is known that Niohime is an exile of a proud warrior-family, but no one really knows more about her origins. Niohime is mostly a very polite and caring person, even if her personality is changing in battle into a emotionless warrior, with an unbreakable focus and will to fight. She does not like to speak about her past, either she dislikes duels with other exiled warriors, that try to claim their honour of defeating an wanted exile. Wanted by the great houses of different warrior-families. In this case the guards do not mind her until she would break the law.

Cailis was born into the misty and harsh streets of Naralok, a mining-city, where you better work in the iron mines, than live on the streets without shelter. She was never the strongest girl around, neither got she enough money to buy proper meals to keep working with more strength and endurance. One day she tried to get a little side job as a delivery girl for the wardens in the iron mines, but after she get robbed on the first day and refused to tell the wardens who has stolen their supplies, because she was afraid to get killed by those thugs one day, so Cailis got thrown out of the mines. Without any job or shelter, the girl was sure she would die in a couple of days. In her despair she went down to the Blighttown, where the poor of the poor lived unseen and unknown to the world. Years later she returned to the streets of Naralok, where rumours start the grow about a shadow that kills thugs, murderers and criminals without mercy.
