Description Ahah. A funny chibi inspired by (believe it or not) early morning shocks of a spider scaring the holy shit out of me in my hallway.

I have an irrational phobia of these eight-legged menaces. A goofy chibi for , because I just can.

Silly Shocky. Why are you using a flyswatter to kill a spider? You should use your shoe instead! It's more useful when it comes to killing cockroaches or spiders, seriously. Your choice of weapon is illogical.

Thanks for drawing this lovely comic, hon. This totally made my day!

Hehe. As always, it's a pleasure! After all, that encounter I had with a spider in the hallway was certainly a source of...inspiration.

Oh, I can understand your horror. Because spiders freak me out, too. Well, they're not as scary as flying cockroaches or caterpillars, but still.

Daww. Caterpillars are cute! But I think jumper spiders are the worst.

Why EVERYONE thinks caterpillars are cute? Am I the only one who's afraid of caterpillars?

Dear god, jumper spiders... I don't think I can remain calm when I see one. So scary!

Because they're fuzzy. :3

... you do know there are some caterpillars which are not fuzzy at all, don't you? Those are the most scary ones. I can never like them no matter what.

Of course I do. I still find them cute. But there's also millipedes. Those are really neat. Just fascinating to watch.

Then again, I'm also not a big fan of mosquitoes. Like buzzing hypodermic needles. UGH! *shudders* And when they sting, your skin looks like an inflated fat guy's ass.

Oh, millipedes are fine, actually. I agree with you, seeing them move is quite fascinating. But caterpillars? No. Definitely no. Jeez, maybe I just have a very serious phobia when it comes to caterpillars...

LOL! Thanks to your comment, now I can never see a mosquito bite the same. I don't like mosquitoes either, especially when they keep making those annoying buzz sound near your ears when you try to sleep.

Or hover there like, "Gonna get 'er. Gonna get 'er..." Ugh. I saw a HUGE one once on the window of my dad's house. He lives in the woods, so...

It looked as big as my hand just watching me from the window. Ew.

Oh my, that was so disgusting! Now I'm suddenly so grateful that I'm not living in the woods. I don't think I can stand seeing a creature like that in my daily life...

fear of spiders is not an irrational fear it is a hyper aware defense system

I think it has to do with childhood trauma because my cousin did drop one on me when I was real young; I don't know exactly, but I've always been terrified of spiders, especially REAL BIG ONES with the long legs. (Oddly, not tarantulas. o_o).

I like spiders! I try not to disturb their webs too much because I can't stand having flies and bees and wasps in the house.

Hm. True. But for me, it's different when one is dangling SO CLOSE TO YOUR FACE. I was like:

._.

...

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

Yeah well, when you live in a family where you are the only one not scared of spiders and it becomes your job to catch them and put them outside whenever they come running across the kitchen floor to terrify your mum and sister, you tend not to mind them so much.

I also let a tarantula crawl over my face before at a zoo and then chased my screaming sister around with my so-called 'spider germs.' Ahh... Childhood.

Hahah. 'Spider germs'. It's odd because I like other insects like millipedes (love how fast they move! ), worms, nightcrawlers, mantis', etc. But spiders have always spooked me.
