First new deviation of the new year! Yay!

Late gift pic for *CurseXX . She likes drawing my OC Runa with different outfits and hairdos, so that's why she looks different from her standard model. I also promised I'd draw Cape!Aikka with her.

In my mind this image is about their feelings while Aikka is away during the Great Race, and Runa is worrying for him back home. Aikka's got his cape on because he's about to do something the Crogs pushed him into (that's the only time he puts it on, isn't it?).

OMG! : D This is so beautiful!
I really like the idea (so much atmosphere).

You drew Runa with curls (*yay*) and her dress is very pretty (I find it difficult to create nourasian clothes but you do so well )
Anyway, I can't help but feeling sorry for her, poor Runa.
Oh, I really like Aikka's cape xD He wears it so rarely in the show (only twice?Oo) and yes, he must be up to something, I wonder what.

Your coloring is simple but it suits your drawings so nicely By the way, have you drawn the outlines by using pc?

Oh good! I'm glad you're happy with it! You're very welcome.

I drew the lines with ink pens, which I don't do often because it's not easy for me. I've tried inking with my tablet before, and it was even harder! That's why most of my artwork is colored sketches, because I'm too lazy to practice inking.

Yes, I hate inking, too. I tried it with gt before but it never worked out right :/
I prefer my good old-fashioned pen ;D
