Description IT'S PRIDE MONTH and boy howdy is there a lot of other shit to focus on and be concerned about right now. For a second, though, let's talk gay horses!
My Pinkie is a genderfluid lesbian! Because they're my favorite and I love to projectΒ
They identified as a filly for most of their childhood, but when they were in their teens, that changed-- specifically, while they were on the road with their uncle Shoofly. Having grown up in a town populated by Clydesdales, Pinkie never considered their bulky build and prominent beard to be "masculine" things. It was just part of being a Clydesdale, and they were proud of it. Out in the cities of Equestria, though, it was much less common to see a filly or a mare with a beard, and Pinkie started being referred to as "sir" or "young stallion" more and more often. At first, they were confused and a bit put off by this, but over time, they began to realize... it didn't exactly feel wrong. They'd always lived as a filly, but they'd never really stopped to wonder if that was really who they were. Often times they were content to be Shoofly's niece, but other times they felt more like his nephew, or just his nibling. One day, Shoofly asked them if they were bothered when ponies "mistook" Pinkie for a colt, but their answer was a shrug and a noncommittal "Eh, not really!". Because sometimes, they were right. It took some explaining, but Shoofly was patient and understanding, and with help from Wander and Bard (who's no stranger to gender identity being a fickle thing), Pinkie was able to find a word to describe what they were feeling: genderfluid.
Most of the time Pinkie wears a special color-changing necklace that lets others know how they're presenting on any given day, but sometimes they find it fun to watch others try to figure it out. Yes, I have a high and squeaky voice today, but I also have also a magnificent beard, but I'm ALSO wearing a bracelet that's colored like the lesbian flag, AND my kid just referred to me as "Baba". It's a gachapon of genders, take your pick! They happily flow between pronouns and genders, sometimes having them all at once, sometimes having none. The beard stays no matter what, though. They worked hard for that thing, they ain't shaving it.

Edit: removed the colored drop shadow, it made it feel to cluttered
