Description
I wrote this poem in November of 2008.Although My world is brighter and My life is happier now...
these words couldn't be any truer then than they are indeed today.
I was sorting through some older art today and I found the
original submission of this to be... quite YUCK!
It was made with Paint.NET & ImageReady...
it needed immediate attention. Thus, II was born.
This is more My style anyway.
The other was an experiment and during a time when I had no PS.
This HAD to be done. *winks*

Wrapped in shiny paper
Careful not to tear her fragile casing
Satin ribbons of emotion and complicated creativity
Topsy-turvy mess of a girl you see
as the shell is chipped here and there
Look deeper... deeper
Softly, gently touch her spirit
Ignite her... She is ablaze!
Deceiving layers... so many
First... There is beauty...
Hate and pain have hardened her middle
But beneath... under it all...
Tender, bleeding core
Warm and sweet, honey doth flow there
Time and patience
See?
Just a wee mite of a girl

Quite beautiful, and wonderful visual, I like that you have to really look to read the words. Kind of drawing you into doing what the poem is asking you to do. The words are powerful, but are like in a soft whisper, just like "see, see what i am but only look if you can hear me."
