This is an OOOOOOOOLD piece of artwork that I started 2 years ago I believe. I decided to finally finish it. (so excuse the lazy shading! I just wanted it over with at this point! XD)
This is of my Color Furry character (closed subspecies).

Color Furries are a toned down type of Night Fury. There is no such thing as a Night Furry. The last one died 100 years before Toothless was born. They have one line that breeds alpha (she is a Moonlit alpha like Toothless) and multiple types based off of markings (Lightning alphas (like her father) are the strongest and rarest type. They're hard to breed and hard to train). They aren't as skilled with the plasma blast types or as skilled with the invisibility scales like Toothless and the Light Fury are and they're always any color but black. Common colors are dark brown and green. They evolved from Night Furries and have adapted to match their environment to camoflagaue from hunters that hunt them during the day as they slept. They have also evolved to have a human intelligence and have copied the ability to write and read their own language, create and use tools, and built shelters like any average viking village can. They are at war with the Grey Furries (closed subspecies) and trying to form an alliance with the Light Furries.

The Grey Furries (closed subspecies) are always grey and never really black. They are inbred and desperate to keep their grey hue, trying to bring back their once glorious bloodlines of the pitch black Night Furies, the original and mother race. They have inbred their generations to keep their colors from turning to white or Primal, and in doing so have weakened their intelligence and sense of emotions and have made a defected and stunted race. They have only kept a few of the traits from the Night Furies they so desperately bred to keep in their bloodlines. They have kept the ability to use a variety of plasma shots (explosions, duds, firewalls, multi-shots, etc.) and have kept their ability to blend in with the night sky. Alphas can only be trained, not bred, in this race. They do not need to share a bloodline with an alpha to gain the Alpha's mark. They seek a pure Night Fury with pure blood to breed into their race and only search for that. If they think they have even a sliver of a chance at obtaining a pure blooded Night Fury, then they will give up wings, limbs, and lives to do it, even if it could fail. They are merciless and greedy, and not the socializing type. Even their tone of voice is always monotone, like their limited ability to feel emotions.

The Light Furies were like the fabled Amazon warriors. Made of mostly females and agile in their environment. But they weren't always the most patient type. Like their movements, they were quick to accusations and violence. They attacked anything in the territory, hidden in their invisible scales. They were the ones who were expert with their powers of invisibility. They ruled the hidden world, but never had an alpha. They believed that females were surperior to males and believed that Alphas were too weak to survive without the marks and were lower then the average night fury, no matter how many times said night fury got their butt kicked. They were quite stubborn and almost impossible to make an alliance with.

These are just some concepts for the world I based my Fanfiction, "The Second Night", on. So please do not use them without permission (The ones that are closed anyway. The Light Furies aren't mine really, but their tribe idea is.)
