Why yes, another Okami fanart. I just can't help it.

I wanted to underline the game's aspect of painting things into existence which is why I kept the background in a traditional Japanese look (or tried to, at least) while putting more realism into Amaterasu.

I've never drawn in such a stylised way (as far as I can remember) so I first filled a whole paper with bamboo trying to figure out how it works XD Of course, it's not 100% Japanese - also given the fact that I don't have the right material to begin with - but I guess you can see what I was attempting to achieve? I hope so, at least.

Also, I was really hesitant about giving Amaterasu one of her divine instruments since I feared it could ruin the drawing's setup and colour scheme. In the end, however, I'm glad I gave her Solar Flare because it added a nice touch of colour and helped putting the focus on the goddess

(Trying to make my signature look like these typical red stamps was a lot of fun, too XD I kinda failed, though)
