And I didn't even use them a lot here, and yet Morgan manages to look like me again. Blegh. I'm going to pretend she doesn't exist and focus on Orion's cute face instead. Working title was 'horny', by the way. I suppose that isn't a much better name.

This is a 'when in doubt, draw Orion' story art again. So is this the moment Morion becomes a thing? Ehhh, nope. But Morgan stops fearing him (FINALLY. It took her an entire goddamn book. But is it a clever thing to do? ) and Orion starts purring like a kitten in return. He really needs a hug. And doesn't get one, because Morion isn't a thing yet (and Morgan isn't into hugs a lot). So he uses his shirt as a substitute - and covering all the yummy stuff. Damn. But I needed to let him do something with his hands, and touching Morgan was out of the question story-wise. And that shirt is important to him! Don't dare to wrinkle it! He is already quite upset he has ripped up his fancy pants with his tail (not visible in drawing), please let him keep the rest of his outfit intact. It's the reason he is not wearing a shirt, the wings would have ruined it.

Also, he has no beard because he had to look fancy (before he got rid of his clothes) and just shaved. I didn't forget to draw it.

Story time! [this snippet hasn't seen a lot of edits yet, but I hope you still enjoy it]
'You look like Nox with a human body,' Morgan said.

He raised his eyebrows. 'That's a… Disturbing image, yet quite kind at the same time. Those idiots below would probably settle for "demon" or "monster".' He nodded down. The followers of the white god were raising their fists at Orion, even fired crossbows at him, but they were so far away that even the massive skaad-like wings had become a tiny target. Orion bit softly on his lower lip as he watched the white god's men chasing him, running in his shadow. 'Don't you secretly think the same as them?' He muttered.

'No.'

'Not even a bit?'

Morgan shook her head. 'It's just you with extra appendages. Sorry Orion, but you'll have to try harder to be scary.' She flashed him a teasing grin. 'But unfortunately for you, your tail isn't nearly as pretty as Rain's.'

He blinked a few times, then grew a small smile. For once, his lips had had curled up in an way that was pretty close to symmetrical. 'You are one weird woman, Moor... Most people run off in the opposite direction when they see me like this.'

'Well, I already tried to get away from you once, even without you sporting the wings and such, but it didn't work.'

He snorted. 'Once? More like thrice.'

Morgan shrugged. 'Hard learner.

Morgan's hand went to the horns on his head. She kept an eye on him, not sure if he would be okay with touching them. When Orion didn't show any signs of disapproval, she stroke them softly. Deep ridges ran across the horns, but they still felt smooth - and strong enough to punch through everything when Orion would headbutt it.

Dangerous, that's what they were – something that couldn't be said of the look on his face. He seemed relaxed, even sort of happy, as if her touch had turned him into a kitten that longed to be petted. Morgan had to do her utter best not to say 'd'awh'.

One corner of his mouth curled up. 'Don't keep that thought to yourself. Spill it.'

She frowned. Say d'awh? Was it so obvious she had been thinking that? ‘What are you talking about?’

'How disappointing…’ He tapped with his finger against the horn sprouting from his left temple. 'I was expecting at least one jest about me being horny.'

Morgan opened her mouth, but closed it just as quickly; it was too late to make a naughty joke now. Her eyes narrowed instead. ‘Maybe I am not as dirty-minded as you are.'

‘So what were you thinking?’

She fell quiet. Her hand continued to stroke his horns, entwining strands of his hair that got caught between her fingers. She couldn’t stop. She liked the feeling and the calm, gentle expression on Orion’s face too much.‘I think I want to see you looking like that more often.’

Something cold touched her cheek, and slowly crawled towards the nape of her neck: his hand.

‘I think I want the same,’ he whispered.
