I've been wanting to do an odalisque for a while, since I haven't had much of an opportunity since back in Ye Olde Art School. Zevran seems a suitable subject for such, no?
Mostly it's an excuse to draw Zev in stockings, though. I'm not really into the whole cross-dressing thing, but Zevran really is one of maybe two men I can think of who can pull off wearing feminine garments while still being utterly male.
Parrots were included in paintings as symbols of sexual license and excess, so I've included one here. It's (obviously) a cockatoo and meant to represent my m!Surana, because… well. If you saw the last piece I posted, you know that he sort of looks like one. X_x;
The full resolution image is 20" x 11" and almost 750MB. Ouch. Resizing and JPG compression are regrettably very rough on texture sharpness/clarity, too, so it looks much better in larger, bandwidth-slaughtering dimensions. Poo.

Yeh, the colors happen to all work really well together. I work with a lot of handpainted yarns and I think sometimes I see colors with something of a warped perspective. There's something about your colors here that make me think of French Gendarme for some reason. See, I told you I as warped.

Thanks. It's a WIP, so hopefully if I ever get around to finishing it (which will depend on me stopping with the whole drawing naked Greagoir thing), it'll look... less derpy with the coloring and anatomy. >_>

There's a lot of stuff wrong with the shading and a bunch of lines I don't like, LOL. I think I need to just strip it down to the lines and start over again.

Ha, thanks. I'm actually really upset with how it turned out, so I'm putting it aside for a few months. Then I'm going to work on re-coloring it and redoing some of the detail work.

What on earth are you talking about? Those colors look amazing! Of course, I'm completely inept color, but I can't see anything wrong with it.
Lol, but yeah, I know what you mean about mages. My m!Surana is an expy of my fav D&D character Felix. Of course, in his case, he'd be the one in the stockings.
I can't wait until I get Zev though. I've barely started the game.

Well, there's a lot wrong with the lighting and color palette and everything. -_- And the shading is absolute bunk. I need to go back and redo it all when I have the time, plus make some changes to the composition and so on.
Talae would wear stockings if Zev asked, but could never pull them off. XD
