So hooray this is finally done! It's taken a span of about 6 days, but that's because I have no talent and procrastinate a lot...I was inspired to make this after reading Homestuck (www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6… this page to be exact) and Vriska says the line, "You don't have to 8e a good person to 8e a hero" and I don't know why but it just struck me as odd. Maybe it's because hero's are often portrayed good-hearted people who are selfless and kind. Vriska on the other hand isn't, but she proves you CAN be a hero despite having your flaws. I felt pretty awed by it and the lesson it taught and thought of other Homestuck characters have taught me. Soon it turned into me doing the trolls, and then EcstaticSanss got involved and it turned into the beta trolls and the humans.
Thanks to for coming up with; Nepeta's, Sollux's, John's, Roxy's, Dirk's, and Dave's! She's amazing and I didn't even ask her to help! <>
I hope I did this justice! I tried to make the characters in different poses, I'm not sure if I screwed up or did well? Anyways I think my favorites are;

Yes, my friend suggested it after I explained the project and the few I had. It was along the lines of this except I tweaked it and reworded it a tad. Yeah though, when she told me I basically screamed because it hurt a lot.

I love the characters, though watching their struggles and breakdowns can be... difficult sometimes.

I love them a lot as well, and I feel the same pain. Seeing them fail and lose really hurts sometimes. Though, it does make their triumphs even sweeter.

Also... I've been watching "Let's Read Homestuck" on youtube. Knowing what I do of the Trolls now, makes it really disturbing to see how they treat each other in Act 5. They have a really messed up society.

Yes, and it's quite sad. A triumph, but they had to die and fail in hundreds of different timelines to get there. Really depressing to be honest.
They certainly do. They treat each other horribly, and often kill each other for fun. I was pretty horrified when I first started reading and got to where troll society was explained.

Sure, their world made them more combat capable, but considering all the other ways they messed up their session, that was likely not for the better. I mean, Eridan stupidly attacked and killed his consorts and all of the trolls killed their Denizens rather than bargain with them...
And Vriska... holy crap, Vriska! She's my favorite troll, but dang. She's chosen by a Lusus that would eat her if she didn't feed it other trolls and, according to Aranea Serket, trolls of her blood have powers of EMPATHY! She was forced to kill while growing up when she could feel everything her victims felt as they died! That is horrifying to think about!

Yes, their world helped them in some ways, but made them WAY too prone to killing. I mean, after thinking about it, Alternia was basically a kill or be killed world. None of them trusted their consorts or denizens because of how they were raised. It's quite sad.
I have a certain love for all the trolls (though Vriska is higher up for sure), but they did do some pretty messed up stuff, from our humane points of view at least. It's really sad how they were all thrown into a world that wanted them dead, and if they weren't perfect they were killed. I always felt pretty bad for most of them, they're so violent because it's nature. Trolls were more advanced than the kids in many ways, but they were like animals. No, scratch that (haha), worse than animals. Animals don't usually kill for sport. People all the time criticize the characters for murdering, but it's just how they were raised. Killing was as natural to them as not-murdering is for most of the human race. In their world it was killed or be killed, so they choose the former.
Also, about the empathy thing, that's horrible! To think that if she didn't kill she'd die, but if she did kill she felt their pain. But that fact that she soon became used to that is really sad. Trolls were raised in such a way that they didn't really get to enjoy their childhoods, it makes me really grateful to be able to live in a peaceful society.

Yeah... and it apparently all a part of the Alpha Timeline of Paradox Space... In other words, if things didn't happen exactly like that, then everything just splinters off into a doomed timeline... Talk about being at the whims of Fate.

That sounds just horrid! If everything didn't happen as Paradox Space wanted, your timeline would be doomed to die. That's really sad, because so many actions are out of control of the Sburb players.

Right. Interestingly, he was able to do most of the fixing with Terezi's help... one of the only Kissmesissitude pairings I can see John having.

True, I haven't gotten to that part yet, but I do know of it and her help. Also, yeah if I had to give John or Terezi a kismesis I'd give pair them as a hate-couple. I didn't like the idea at first but I saw some hilarious drawings of them making fun of each other and I must say, a little bit of me ships it.
Also I have not. I do know about the timeline being fixed and the Gameover though, so don't worry you haven't spoiled anything. I do not, however know about the ending updates and some before.

Speaking of Homestuck Ships, I seem to really like certain John pairings. I see him flushed with Rose, Roxy, Vriska, Kanaya and Aradia... those last two because of some cute fanarts I found. On the caliginous side, Terezi definitely and Sollux... that one again based on a fanart I found and agreed with.

Haha, I don't know why but I really love all sorts of pale ships. The character I ship the most with others pale is Terezi though. I pale ship her with: Dave (I never really saw them as too romantic, mainly like two best friends), Vriska (cute fanarts of smol children being best friends makes me happy), Sollux (awesome pale fanart plus troll cops), and then Nepeta (I like Nepeta <> Equius better, but I also like pale Nepezi)
For flushed romances I usually only enjoy less combinations. I don't know why, I just do.

He did. It's quite sad. He was a bit of a controlling d-bag at times, but he genuinely cared about Nepeta's well being. He came off as creepy and weird at times, but his character is pretty great. I always found his conversations with the others hilarious and I liked it when him and Nepeta would do the "yes!" "no!" thing. He didn't get all the justice he deserved to be honest.
