thanks mate. I'm mainly going for mythological creatures, I can't really think of many others, I want to do a Siren and a Minotaur but I can't think of any others. meh I'll do a search on the net

That looks pretty good! I'd recommend smoothing out the tail and the body so it looks more like one thing as a whole rather than a tail and a body separate. Er- I hope that made sense. XD The shadow looks really cool, though. I like it.
Heh, this stood out to me as I was browsing because I JUST submitted a photo manip of a mermaid, so I thought I'd check it out and comment. :]

Thanks for the comment. the picture originally started out as a black and white photo of a guy in the shower so I had to add colour to it and the tail was pretty difficult to do on it own, I had this crappy template to work from and attempt to add colour and shadow to it. might have a fiddle around with it and get it to look better but thanks heaps for the comments
