Maternal
Meredith is a mother, and she takes that job very seriously. Had it been up to her, she would have had at least two dozen foals, but the unicorns only saw fit to bless her with two. While not what she hoped for, she's very pleased with what she has, all differences put aside. She's heaped love on to her two boys for as long as either can remember, and though they're older now, she continues to fuss and nuzzle them, even in public, the horror. Despite her age, she's still sprightly enough to keep up with the herd's youngsters, and will take every opportunity to babysit foals.

Protective
Meredith is very protective of her family. Though she's calmed down over the years, when her children were young she was quite the 'helicopter parent', treating her boys as though they were made of glass and trying her best to keep them from wandering out of their designated play areas. They got really good at distracting her. They also got grounded. A lot.

Proper
Calm, cool, collected. Meredith is a very proper mare who holds herself to a high standard of grace and dignity. She doesn't do anything that could be considered 'uncouth', and she feels uncomfortable in the presence of horses that don't exhibit good manners. She can lose her temper, but it's very rare, and almost always the fault of her two boys.

Conservative
Like her mate, Meredith is a very old-fashioned horse. She believes that ladies should be in a supportive role, and stallions ought to be protectors of herd and family. Couples who bare children out of wedlock have made a terrible mistake, and horses that fall for someone of the same sex... well, they're a little odd, aren't they? It's worth mentioning that Meredith doesn't ostracize these horses. She just prays for them. A lot.

Devout
The unicorns are absolutely real, and they absolutely did come out of the sea to deliver horses from peril. Meredith believes this, down to every last pale hair on her body.

Vain
A bit, yes. Meredith has always valued her good looks, and she works rather hard to maintain them. She may not be a spring chicken anymore, but that doesn't stop her from keeping her hair in mint condition and replacing her roses when they wilt. Woe be to anyone that gets her mane wet, a swift death be upon them.
