Very cool, always liked this show, though there were times when it was limited by the age group it was meant for...IMHO

Yeah, I don't think there was much they could do. :c If people started realizing that animation isn't solely a children's medium, I think we could have some truly great shows (Especially a reimagined, slightly more mature DP - it'd probably be fantastic)

I completely agree, the ever hopeful optimist in me thinks that it's only a matter of time. Oh god what I would give for some updated/more adult themed cartoons (Ben 10, Danny Phantom, Avatar). They've done it before too, just look at Batman the Animated series and Batman Beyond both were very adult for kids shows; for them to do the same to other series, it'd be like adding chocolate fudge to ice cream.

Yeah, definitely! I think especially because we've got a lot of us who were kids in the "golden age" of animation, growing up with shows like Hey Arnold, Angry Beavers, Power Puff Girls, Dexter, and the myriad of those other awesome cartoons - and now we're older and we've still got that passion for animation.
It just seriously boggles my mind that people somehow see animation as a solely children's medium even though adults are the ones thinking of it and creating it (Which then results in stuff like adults trying to market crappy animation for kids when they SHOULD just try to think of quality stories that happen to be animated, that can speak to both children AND adults)
I think that's why cartoons like Adventure Time and Gravity Falls and Korra are doing so well - because they're good, interesting stories first and "animation" second, and they're relatable for both kids, young adults, and older adults.
