thanks to everyone who entered this snyip event, it was a lot of fun seeing what everyone came up with!!i also apologise for the slight hold-up in getting winners picked!! SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADO here we go!!!!:
first place - wins the snyail design AND 10 snyip bits: Pimochi !!
you really went the extra mile with your drawing, but the shell itself is the star! it looks like a great roomy size for this lil snyail... the spikes and piercings were what really made it for me, same with the shell markings!! they all came together super well!
second place - wins 5 snyip bits: KO3LNHA !!
i've never seen a controller shell before, so this one was super neat!!! the details you added to the controller are absolutely precious... i want a snyony controller for myself.... clenches fist...
third place - wins 3 snyip points: snyvern !!
i love the personality you added to the snyail with this top hat shell! they look like a Very dapper pal!!!!
as a finally note, all other entries have received 2 snyip bits!

Something a little new for snyails!!
(snyails are an open species, you can read up on their info at their group!)
Starting with this event, you can earn 'snyip' for participating (and lots of snyip for winning)!!
What is snyip?
It's pretty much catnip, but for snyails. It's the only food that they'll always eat, regardless of their food preferences!
Why does it matter???
Snyip earned from participating in snyail events can be used in future official snyail raffles!
The more snyip you offer to raffle snyails, the more likely they are to 'pick' you as their owner (in other words, each snyip bit functions as a raffle ticket)!
Snyip earned will be kept track of on this spreadsheet:

Anyone is welcome to participate in these events and earn snyip for use in future snyail raffles!!!!
Now onto the event itself!!!!
This is a shell designing content!
The objective is to create a shell for the young snyail shown here! The shell can be anything you think would suit this snyail. You're also welcome to explain why you made the shell you did for it!
Rules:
- You can create a shell without putting it on the snyail (so just a drawing of the shell by itself), or you can draw the snyail with the shell!
- only drawn images can be submitted for this event!
- only one entry per person! You're welcome to update your entry if you'd like, but you must have only one shell posted in the end.
- Try not to copy entries that others have made!
- Post your entry in the comments of this deviation!
Prizes:
First Place - First place wins the snyail design! They'll also earn 10 snyip bits!
Second Place - Second place wins 5 snyip bits!
Third Place - Third place wins 3 snyip bits!
All other entrants - everyone who enters will immediately earn 2 snyip bits!
This event will end on November 20th! Be sure to get your entries in before then, and have fun! Also, if you have any questions concerning snyails or snyip, please let me know!

did it! I imagined them having a pomegranate but with a snyail twist since most people don’t like pomegranates and I thought that element fit their personality.

Tbh I feel like I'm the one who's going through a phase just drawing this bab..
one of the things I wanted to highlight around this babu was the edgy-type shell, felt that adding a skull isn't necessary since it's edgy enough as a designed-shell, like, think about it, what if they spray painted themselves and originally it was just a plain old red snail HEUHEU
There's also a lil beanie cause well, more edginess, I wanted to keep the piercings at a minimum, for now, to keep it clean-ish; maybe at some point, there will be more piercings on their lil antennae, that'd be a possible update if it needs more edge hur

The way its eyes are half closed in the original picture kinda made it look snooty so I gave it a fancy tophat with a flower :3
I wanted to do a skull but the idea was already taken so I went with this instead

this snyail's shell is a sewing purse! they use their needles and thread in various ways to snatch their favorite food - blueberries! they're very sneaky and they always have blueberry stains on their paws, mouth, and ... all of their belongings.
