it's that time of the year again.... Mending Day activities are in full swing! it seems the split between mending day and destruction day is pretty intense....
Historically, Mending Day is a time for gifted spinxyn to give back to those who have gifted them.
In modern nephfei times, it's most comparable to how we celebrate valentines day.

This is a prompt event, meaning that to earn rewards, all you have to do is participate!
You can earn up to 10 core shards, as well as raffle entries for the spinx shown above!
This prompt will close on March 10th, 11:59pm EST, be sure to submit before then!

Mending Day - How to participate
- For this event, you will create up to two art or written pieces, based on mending day prompts! Only ONE submission will earn shards; the 2nd would only count as a raffle entry for the spinx representing the other prompt, for any go-getters out there.
- Pieces will be submitted and recorded on google forms, you must have a google account to submit!
- To see what you need to create, please read the 'what to draw and what you'll earn' section below!

What to draw and What you'll earn
- There are TWO PROMPTS this year: one for classic mending day activities, and one for destruction day (anti-mending day) activities! PICK YOUR POISON!!
- You may draw spinxyn, harpips, centicorns, or merphins for these prompts. These characters can be your own, your friends, or a volunteers.
- Each piece must have 1 character minimum. For art, the main character must be full bodied, or around 80% body shown at the least.
- For art, your piece must be colored and properly represent the characters featured. For writing, entries must be at least 800 words.
- The style, medium, and format is entirely up to you! Backgrounds and shading are not mandatory, but are encouraged to help fit the prompts.
- Completing one prompt, while following these guidelines, will earn you 10 core shards as well as an entry to a raffle for the corresponding spinx, shown above!
- You may complete BOTH prompts, but your 2nd entry will only count towards participation for the raffle of the other spinx!
- The 2 spinx being raffled in this event will only be giftable, or tradeable within nephfei (aka for other spinx, spinx MYO slots, the open species designs, etc.)
- THE PROMPTS + ENTRY FORMS:
- 1. CUPID
- This prompt deals with the classic Mending Day activities. Nephians must be shown giving gifts, sharing love, being kind, enjoying the color PINK, eating tastey love chocolates, etc! Think VALENTINES DAY!
- Participating in this prompt will please the CUPID! By entering, you will be put into a raffle for the following design at the end of the event:
- If this is the first prompt you enter, you will also earn 10 core shards!

- This prompt deals with DESTRUCTION DAY activities. Nephians must be shown being moody, ruining other's dates, ripping up hearts, playing pranks, and being generally unpleasant!
- Participating in this prompt will please the HEART BREAKER! By entering, you will be put into a raffle for the following design at the end of the event:
