I couldn't resist to draw Ultron after I've seen the new Avengers Age of Ultron Teaser Trailer!
So here is a very small and quick mixed media drawing (I'll do a better one with James Spaders face, when they release some movie posters or high resolution pictures)! My scanner killed the black parts by the way (it doesn't look like black???).I can't wait till April 2015 (at least the movie release date is one day before the US release and not one month later like Guardians of the Galaxy...)!!!
Reference was a screencap of Ultron (James Spader) from the Avengers: Age of Ultron Teaser Trailer.

I think Ultron's actually a better a villain than Loki. Don't get me wrong, Loki is good to, and he's evil. But Ultron is SCARY. His voice, the way he moves, and his personality, this guy is incredibly intimidating.

I know what you mean and I agree! Loki is more some kind of tragic villain (with an "redemption option"; has sometimes no other choice; is "often" close to tears; and so on...), but Ultron just seems to be a pure evil/scary villain who just wants to clean up the world from all humans(!?) and is a more serious threat. And yes... especially the voice is very intimidating (I hope that they fix the German voice, because it sounds too much like Spaders german voice in "The Blacklist"). James Spader is just a perfect choice for him!
I'm also looking forward to see Andy Serkis and of course more of Thomas Kretschman.

They did a great job with the casting so far (Andy Serkis! Yeah!!!). He was good in the Stargate movie, but he is just awesome in the TV show "The Blacklist"!

i like the fact that he's not another loki he a serious character who isnt trying to play games with the avengers he just want to get down right nasty with them and kill things which is going to make this movie fun to watch especially since with him having some what of a link to stark thats going to bring about civil war(allegedly )

p.s: i think if cap dies it would be some where around cap 3 ( since if cap 3 is based on civil war that may be the outcome seeing thats what his fate was in the comic) but i dont think chris is done with the character so ...

I completely agree! Loki was fun and tried to test the Avengers while Ultron is a serious/scary threat that just wants to destroy everything. I hope that he's not going to be a "forgetable" villain like Ronan... The connection with Tony is going to be very interesting. I would put my money on the scenario that Ultron will kill his best friend/"Iron Patriot". I wonder who is going to die (Joss Whedon loves to kill off characters...). I've heard that a major character is going to die, but I hope it's not Thor.

I'm not sure about Caps fate. I would not eliminate that he'll be killed off in Cap3 in the civil war storyline. Bucky or Falcon could replace him, when he dies...

i think its black widow . she's a major character ( not the big three major but a step above hawkeye) , she's killed and replaced several times in both the main and ultimate universe canon( more so in the ultimateverse ) the other could be scarlett and quick silver as their alliances accord to the trailer is iffy seeing they are with ultron in one scene and is not fighting him..
or it could be hulk..
too early for cap, iron man or thor to die as they all have films after avengers 2

Possibly (I didn't read the comics and just know a few things/storylines). That would make sense... Black Widow dies => Hulk freaks out, because they had a relationship and the other Avengers have to send him away from earth. He gets lost in space, meets the Guardians of the Galaxy and they help him to get back to earth => Avengers 3 or 4 setup where they all can fight Thanos!
Or Quicksilver... I'm not sure if both stay evil. They are going to join the Avengers, but I don't think they'll kill of these new characters. Especially not Scarlet Witch, because the MCU is lacking female superheroes.
Hulk? Never... They can't kill an irreplaceable fan favourite.
I think that you are right about Cap, Iron Man and Thor. There is still this weird new female Thor comic. But this would make no sense, because the Tesseract is in Asgard... I want to see Thanos collect all the infinity stones and to kill Loki with the infinity gauntlet, to show it's power (and there was this "threat" from "The Other" in "The Avengers"). He's my favourite MCU character, but I would pay a lot of money to see that. And Loki doesn't work without Thor (my second favourite character by the way).

LMAO well i mentioned him because he although is a major character and part of the original avengers he's secondary like widow and hawkeye . as although he could have his own movie he hasnt had any since the whole phases started ( except themovie with edward nortan .. incredible hulk or what ever it was caled ). but i want to also put it out there that his " death " could also means bruce losing the ability to turn into the hulk . which would means hulk is out of the picture ... all possible
true i can see them keeping her as of the two she has been on other avengers teams and comics and is much more of a hero then quicksilver . but we have to see how close to the original characters these two are since they changed alot of due to copy rights that being said i have money on quick silver trying to follow and align with ultron and scarlett just being a follower ..
the simple fact that loki and asgard have connections to the tesseract /thanos is more of enough reason why thor cant be killed off in this up coming avengers movie.. if anything his 3rd movie should be the jumping off point for the 3rd avengers film

We'll see what will happen to him (... this "Incredible Hulk movie" was really forgetable...) and the other characters. But I would not exclude some of your theories.
I hope that they'll announce the release date of the third Thor movie soon and I want to see an awesome after credit scene in Avengers 2!

The teaser was pretty epic, but I still prefer the Avengers 1 trailers. And nothing beats "City of the Fallen - Prince of Darkness (Avengers Remix)" from the second Avengers trailer!!! But I hope that they'll use some epic music for the first Avengers Age of Ultron trailer (for example like "Hi-Finesse - Slowly into the light" in one Guardians of the Galaxy trailer... I knew this song before they used it for the trailer). I love trailer music, so this is very important for me.
I think I watched the trailer 20 times, when I first noticed that it was online. It was weird. I was drawing the Portman picture and it was already ~4:00 in the morning when I checked my Youtube subs (30 minutes after the release)... I'm still so excited!
I hope that I can see it a few days earlier at the premiere in Berlin. I will try to be there and try to get some autographs.
