I couldn't resist to draw Ultron after I've seen the new Avengers Age of Ultron Teaser Trailer!
So here is a very small and quick mixed media drawing (I'll do a better one with James Spaders face, when they release some movie posters or high resolution pictures)! My scanner killed the black parts by the way (it doesn't look like black???).I can't wait till April 2015 (at least the movie release date is one day before the US release and not one month later like Guardians of the Galaxy...)!!!
Reference was a screencap of Ultron (James Spader) from the Avengers: Age of Ultron Teaser Trailer.

This is a great drawing. The shape of everything from that ring in his cheek to the teeth to the red sparkles in his face and eyes are all brilliant, and the shading is really good as well. Thank you for sharing your talents!

Ultron was THE single greatest thing about that movie. James Spaders performance was beautiful ;-;
He's also my favorite Marvel villain (above Carnage) because he's the only villain in the ENTIRE Marvel universe to have ever succeeded in actually taking over the world, he did it in the "Age of Ultron" storyarc.
He's also going to appear as a Lego Minifigure

Your first comment just couldn't be serious, because almost everyone was excited to see a new menacing villain like Ultron in the movie. So I was just like: Well... I spend so many hours on my drawings and then somebody just uses them to make strange comments. If you were serious: Uhmm. No. I was excited to see Ultron as well (like many others) and now after seeing the movie I'm a little bit disappointed. He was a great villain, but I thought he would be more powerful and menacing.

But I hope that they fix the german version, because the english voice sounds much better. The german voice sounds too much like "Reddington" from "The Blacklist" / more like a human than a killer robot.

Well... I can't upgrade my quick "sketch", but I'll draw a better one with Spaders face, when they release some proper pictures of Ultrons final form, because I'm not sure if this is his final form.
The teaser trailer was pretty awesome. I think I saw it 50 times or more (it was 4:00 in the morning by the way, because I was drawing the Portman picture, when I noticed that Marvel released it 30 minutes ago)! XD Then I watched the german trailer and the voice of Ultron was a bit disappointing. It was Spaders german voice, but it sounded too much "human". So all I hear in the german version is "Reddington" (James Spader in "The Blacklist") threating the world! XD
But I can't wait to see the movie!!! I'm especially very excited about Andy Serkis role and I want to see more of Ultron, Paul Bettany and Thomas Kretschmann! So that's basically me when I watch the trailer: Β Β
