I did this for a contest on Worth1000 in July 2008. I never liked the way the background turned out and plan on redoing it someday.SOURCES
Thanks to vpaolillo of [link] for one of the building shots and ardelfin from Morguefile.com for the circuitboard photo that I used to create the warship.
I had so much fun with this that I did a simple animation of this scene here:
