O.O oh my so cute! and this looks like a kind of Protector, like the ones in Harry Potter (i dont know the english name...). the eyes are so beautiful, and the effect you used for the whiskers make them so surreal!

Probably because, without knowledge about how fractals work, this is a very impressive looking piece of art. I say this because I had no idea how fractals work. I didn't even know what they really were. I just knew the patterns people made with them were really abstract and interesting to look at. I didn't realize how simple the process of making art with them was.
That, and the fact that you took the time to comment. Comments and views contribute to these getting on, and staying on, the front page.
But mostly the people thinking this is impressive when it's actually very simple. Previously uninformed people like myself.
