The Symbiosis Program is designed to address not only the physical effects of the post-apocalyptic world, including the deadly radiation and curses but also the psychological well-being of the citizens. Witnessing the destruction of everything and the sacrifices made by soldiers to protect them has taken a heavy toll on their mental health.
The Symbiosis Program was invented by Toah and is aimed at helping citizens who have become disabled as a result of the apocalypse to stand up again and face the new world alongside others. In this program, a new kind of symbiotic life form is created, one that not only promotes the regeneration of severed limbs but also evolves the host's genes and physique through symbiosis, enabling them to withstand the disasters of the apocalypse. Most importantly, it provides the host with an unwavering companion who can soothe their psyche. This symbiotic life form is called the "Little One."

The partial bodily evolution and internal changes brought about by this program help citizens develop trust and confidence in their symbiotic companions. The physical presence of a partner who always has the host's best interests at heart, and can assist in various tasks and situations, significantly strengthens the bond between the host and the symbiotic life form.

The downside is that it takes time for the symbiotic life form to grow and develop. During the growing phase of the "Little One," the governement will responsible for the growth process. However, once the "Little One" transfers its life force to the host, it will disappear forever. Furthermore, hosts cannot obtain a new "Little One" as each one is entirely loyal to a single host.
