Submitted this to the covered blog, where you basically redraw a popular comic cover. Was rejected! Woo! I did this on a whim, I need to take more time on things. Lesson learned
Love these comics, never got read the whole thing UNFORTUNATELY. Something I will have to catch up on one day. Lovely comics, loved reading them.
Obviously this cover isn't mine. Duh.

I'm a huge (as in overweight) Love and Rockets fan. Got a bunch of the original comix from the 80's, some of the trade paperbacks, on and on. Love Maggie, Hopey, Luba...!Love 80's alt comix, period...despite my later decent into porn...or maybe because of it.

This may come as no surprise, but I am a MASSIVE Love and Rockets fan...specifically a Jaime fan, so I love you a little more for doing this cover. Cheers!

Awesome! Yeah, I can definitely see you reading them/being a fan of them. I need to somehow collect all the issues, but yes, if I could draw like Jaime, my life would be fulfilled.

They've been putting out thick reprint volumes recently that are organized by brother rather than chronology alone. Jaime has three Locas books and a Penny Century book that are all at a good price. There are a handful of Gilbert books as well, but I was never much of a Beto fan. There's also a Jaime omnibus that I think collects his entire run of the original series.
