Description
Now this came to me at around midnight, and I had to do it. It's based on the old game "Snake" where you had to eat all the pretty little apples without biting yourself in half ... so this is my version.I didn't realize it would be such an ordeal. This little piece of animation took 148 frames, and as many layers since I had to basically draw each frame's snake over and over. I looked forward to the straight aways.
Overall I'm happy with this avatar and it's minimal feel and retro vibe.
If anyone wants one like this ... note me, and we can talk. I have a few already made in back up we could work with.

You know, this is one of my favorite avatars. I'm too lazy and don't have the patience to make one that detailed.

Never heard of the game - a snake biting itself in half? - but this is seriously impressive. 148 frames and layers? Sounds agonizing. I would think it would be over the size limit, but obviously it isn't. Anyhow... great work. Seriously.

Oh yeah, it took me a few hours to do. It was painstaking.

Oh, ack. I don't have the patience for that. Very sharp results, though.

lol thanks, this thing was a beast to do though. Don't let its simplicity fool ya.

I wasn't paying attention when I originally saw this in your journal, and then I saw it as a deviation and actually LOOKED at it. I love it! Very realistic (almost like I'm looking at a cell phone that's playing the game for me...only better ). It runs very smoothly, too.
I think you've done a fantastic job on this!

I like the smooth movement it has, and the retro concept itself.
I wish I could be more critique, but there isnt anything I can suggest right now. Keep on it.

Don't worry about it ... sometimes support is just as important as critique. If no one liked my work, I wouldn't bother posting it up.
