Description

Had this Cluster baby sitting around for a while and only recently got around to finally drawing a proper reference pic and deciding on a color palette.

Shard (still debating on giving it a proper Gem name, but leaning toward Chrysoprase) is a stable fusion of two Gem shards. The composite shards are all that remains of a Malachite and a Pearl after they were sentenced to be shattered for having fallen in love while on Homeworld. Shard itself is barely sentient and can only say a few words and phrases. Mostly, it communicates in grunts and squeals.

Capable of fusing with whole Gems, Shard gains full sentience and the fused Gem can access the cluster's memories. Due to the Malachite component, the fusion is usually quite large.
