What is a Unicorn you ask? Well, my friend it's a mythical creature made of the sea with the mane and tail of a lion, the beard of a goat, the body of an antelope, and a single horn spiraling to the heavans wrought of magic and purity. I suppose I'm still working on the lion's tail!I encourage people to full view this picture because some of the finer details are lost at this smaller size!

Wow! Thanks for the wonderful comment! I think as the legend goes unicorns were created of the sea. I wanted the mane and tail to match the waves of a stormy sea and well a happy go lucky unicorn just wouldn't cut what I was looking for in the piece. I don't know if you have ever heard of St. Elmo's fire, but it's a type of continuous electric spark called a "glow discharge" that is found around ships mast, yardarms, and any sharp or pointed objects during a thunderstorm at sea. I just applied the same concept to the unicorn's horn and body. I'm glad you approve!
