Beautiful work!!! i love the warm colors of the flower opposite the cool colors. and might i just add that all my attempts at pastels fail...miserably lol yours looks great!

Thanks! I loved doing the humming bird, since I got to blend so much
I kinda got the idea of putting it on black from National Geographic They often do that to make something stand out more, and right before I did these I had been looking at one with humming birds
I guess you can see where I got the idea for this

Yeah, I love National Geographic's pictures I think they do that a lot for underwater shots too ... they do it for a lot of stuff, now I'm thinking about it

I think it's like a classic photobox thing. Just another thing I've nto quite figured out how to do yet
But hey, that's as good an excuse as any for the fact that I've not been able to bring myself to throw out all those National Geographics...they're inspiration, yeah...

yup, me neither, someday I'll figure it out, I just need to keep them around long enough
