commission for Cryophase of their character Patterat the dratterflyoh man I fell in love with this character! it's not often that I get to draw non-furry characters and this was a real treat. I the colors too, I'll admit that I had my doubts for a while but everything came together beautifully! wonderful job designing him, can see the influence of your studies in entomology (I've always wanted to take a few classes in that)
the psychedelic colors were pretty awesome too haha
if this had a background he'd look like he was straight out of Yellow Submarine

I think you did a great job with the colors and pose, and you were very faithful to the wings! I really appreciate it since they can be a nuisance to draw but you handled it quite nicely.
I always like commissioning someone with something slightly new and being awed at how great they handle it

the wings were actually pretty fun, they looked complicated at first but once I divided them into several layers it got easier
