It is a great episode
"I remember watching Michelangelo painting the Sistine Chapel. Wow, what a whiner! I kept saying to him "Look, if you're scared of heights, you shouldn't have taken the job then". And Picasso, what a ghastly old goat! I kept telling him, "Concentrate, Pablo. It's one eye, either side of the face".
"Is this how time normally passes? Really slowly, in the right order?"

So many great lines ^^

how long did this take to make??? This is absolutely phenomonal!!
I really wish I had your talent with traditional mediums and just general creativity. Your art is always so mystifying and just 'out there'
i love it

oh my goodness thank you so much <3Β
I think that this took seven or eight hours? it was pretty on-and-off, sort of a nice way for me to unwind after homework each night haha
ahh you flatter me, though I think my true strength lies in trying new things and always challenging myself to do something different. I have so many inspirations on here, and if not for the amount of time that I spent just creepily studying their brushwork I think that there is no way that I would be able to make anything traditionally! I just try to draw from what I love, and usually the technical skills develop themselves if I push them enough.Β
but you have so much talent too, I would love to see you try something traditional! it just takes patience with your medium, if you have the drive, then everything will work out.Β

wowowow that's crazy, but definitely worth the time it took for the result!
Β
I really wish I was like that. I'm definitely a perfectionist, therefore I generally just stick to drawing what I'm best at. I don't really know how to change it up and try new things. I get that, believe me. The amount of time I spend watching other people's speedpaints and tutorials is just slightly ridiculous XD
I do try to do traditional bits occasionally, but I really should push myself to try different mediums more often (on that note, I FINALLY got to sorta test out my watercolors! I definitely need practice with them, and I honestly prefer acrylic, but watercolors are still quite fun!)

heh I guess you could say that I'm a perfectionist too, but things have certainly changed artistically for me these last few years. I think I have just enough of a base in my media that I can really be satisfied when I experiment
and yes yes test them! watercolors are so forgiving, and there are a crazy amount of different techniques that you can try with them. It's always interesting to see what kind of style you'll figure out with them because it's different for everyone that tries. I would love to see!

I wish i was like that
every time i start experimenting I end up being unsatisfied with it and just kinda go back to doing what I normally do ;o;
I'll definitely have to keep using them then, I have a good amount of heavy paper left anyway!
