well let me be the first to say.....FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUK! how the heck do you dragon artiest do this so easy. Making Feral Dragons is frecken hard. every art I see of a normal dragon looks easy but when I do it, well gah dang it a pain. This pic almost got me so Frustrated I almost gave up and when back to her anthor version but with bit of confidence i manage but still you guys this was not easy. If i'm going to keep going on this I well have to take some time off and really practice on these type of characters so i can learn different poses just so my hand can adjust to the angles more.In truth I really want to more of these in the new Skylander world I have been working but it going take me long time to get it down.
till then i'm going to get bottle of soda and play me some breath of the wild and calm down for while. Β Β

If I'm being honest, your interpretation of Cynder is one of the best I've seen. You don't give her that sickly, greyhound look with a sunken stomach and toothpick-thin legs like how most dragon artists draw her, you actually put some meat and muscle on her just like how a traditional dragon should have. She looks like a creature no one wants to mess with.
But I'm sure with a lot of practice and reference, you'll greatly improve on drawing feral creatures. You're already an artist with a unique art style and lots of talent, so I'm sure you'll pull it off easily with some practice.

well that for that comment and yeah I do know what you mean when saying that most make there dragons really skinny and weak for me i was going for more Nature western look to where these are creatures know law of the land and need to survive. I did want to make Cynder too big or thin just right look for a female dragon and since the skylander world I have the dragons are bigger so it show there might. but yes with enough time to work on these charactersΒ i hope to get them down right.

Just keep practicing and you'll get it, for now even I think that it's for the best that you do simple stance do you get used to be different body types and shapes, if it helps you can model your dragons after a real-life four-legged animals that you're used to like dogs and big cats.....

oh yes I do attended to and yeah i have book on how to draw animals so i can use that for few ref to help me with any issues i'm having

to be honest I'm jealous of you. In fact I'm jealous of everyone on deviantart, your all so talented, and make such creative drawings. I can hardly draw anything, I can only do stick figures. I wish I was like you guys.
