Finally figured out how to submit. Glad I didn't wait until the very last moments, only the very last hours to figure that out
.Big fan of the Resident Evil franchise- this was a lot of fun to do. I hope everyone had as much fun, pain, and agony as I did in their creations for this contest. I wish all good luck in the judging rounds.
Anyone know when that is?

It was actually judged.
But the thing that gets me even more was that I didn't expect to win. There were three good pieces that could have beat this one out easily... only they didn't make the top 15 either.
Strange to me- you can see them if you look through the entries (the most popular ones). There was some ridiculously stiff competition for this one!

Thanks guys. It's hard to know what judges are looking for in contests. To be honest there were pieces there that I were sure were going to win and they also didn't make the semi finals. I'm not disappointed, because I really was doing this for the deadline and experience, anything extra would have been icing. But I'm quite happy with how it turned out and hope to compete in more Deviant Art competitions in the future.

Yeah, by the way. Let me know how it looks. I painted it rather dark, but the lighter colors just looked DULL on my girlfriend's monitor. Since mine was more expensive I chose to trust mine
