You can't put a "sig" in your journal. You'll have to manually put in what you want to put in yourself.
For example, if you want an icon to appear at the bottom of every journal entry you make, you'll have to put in that icon every time you write a journal entry, by Copy/paste method or typing it in manually.
And you're not stupid. Im not that great in explaining stuff. Its just a communication error on both our parts.
