Yay I've posted!
I've pushed art stuff aside these past few weeks. I had lost my job and gain another through job search so art hasn't really been on my radar for awhile. I am well aware of art requests and comics I have to post, so hopefully I can get those up soon.

I decided to do a mecha because
1. I have never drawn mecha before (now you know why this one isn't all that great)
2. There aren't a lot of artwork relating to Danny's exoskeleton suit when he fought Pariah Dark.

Granted I have drawn Danny's exo-suit before but was never happy about it. So this came about.
This time I used rulers and curved lines to make the lineart, the pen tool seems to ruin or distort what I want to achieve :/
And I think it turned out well.

The design is a mix of the original with a gundam influence - as well as mixing in a bit of Dan's clothing colour scheme. Since this is my first mecha I decided to keep it simple.

The way it is designed is to be close in combat, with a mix of flexibility and durability. The suit doesn't use guns but it is very nimble.
Rather than relying on Danny's power, it runs on Ectoranium. It carries none of the ghost like abilities but it causes major damage on ghost enemies since ectoranium nullifies ghost abilities.
This means Danny can only pilot this when he is human but it also means that ghosts can't hijack it use it against him.

The discs at the back allow the suit to keep afloat while withing the zone and uses less power than rockets (thus more power to kill things). Also the glow sword runs on ectoranium. A piece of the stone is on the end of the hilt.

The only downside is that its vulnerable to real world weaponry but it wasn't really designed to fight humans.

My fave part are it's legs. I love how they turned out and how it carries the ectoranium glow.
