Art request for

A cross over between Danny Phantom & Pokemon.

So awhile back ~MARoy asked me if I could do a DPxPKMN crossover.
After drawing an intital sketch - [link] I made the line art and then left it for a while. After a few weeks I picked it back up again and looked at it with fresh eyes. I didn't like it so I redrew it to what you see now.

Took me a day and a half to do this. I ran into problems with my old tablet, it made jerky marks to general strokes and I could only work on half of the tablet board to avoid glitching :/.

I decided to go out and buy another one! I went with a Wacom Bamboo tablet and it's so much better than my previous tablet! As soon as I could I pulled out some old stuff on back log and decided to get a feel for the new hardware.

So now I am working on a back log of stuff, finishing of art requests, general art and comics.

Another thing you may notice is the background. Normally I'm not too good with backgrounds (and I am determined to change that!) so I'm happy how the brick wall turned out. The brick wall is made in photoshop via tutorial. I encourage you to give it a shot if you're interested.

I had quite a bit of freedom with this art request. I decided to do the original ghost pokemon, Gastly, Haunter & Gengar. Everytime I've played pokemon I'd always wanted to collected these ones, as well as getting an Alakazam.

I wanted to draw a slightly scary take on the three ghost pokemon. I played with the idea with giving them ghostly auras as all ghosts appears in DP but since they were emerging from the wall, visually, it was a bit too much white.

The idea here is that Danny is human with ghost powers or some sort of supernatural power. He is a mysterious trainer, disappears quickly and reappears in the most unlikely of places and situations.

He is somewhat an urban legend in the pokemon region (insert region name) and collects all sorts of pokemon and is a bit heroic (being Danny Phantom and all XD)

Danny has other types of pokemon (depending on the region), rarer/stronger the better but if he is venturing into the Ghost Zone he would travel with the ghost pokemon. They can help with his defense while within the zone from his ghostly enemies.

Danny is a bit older than fourteen here... or he has hit a growth spurt, lol. His hair is a tribute to Phantom Planet when he tried to reverse his powers in the hopes to take his own powers away...but failed
