I just never took her chainsaw out and never questioned it again. XD So yeah, no real reason or logic to her having it, she just kinda does

Oooo, fun question! Ok, so, Mr. Hood is one of the main characters from the original hand-drawn comics, but he actually never appeared in that version until the second series. For the online version, I've been changing up a lot of details about the original, partially because my writing skills were HORRIBLE back then (like, worse so, anyway :P)
But anyway, I decided to include him early so that he doesn't show up COMPLETELY out of the blue in season 2, considering that he's such a large impact on basically everyone around him. Plus, I really wanted to fit him into Nick's arc, because it's going to make a lot of later details fall into place much more nicely, and I REALLY like how their relationship dynamic turned out, and am really excited to work with it more.Β
As for inspiration for his initial creation from the get-go... I can't get into that too much because of spoilers

Ahh well no worries but thats very interesting! He reminds me alot of some other characters from other games, mysterious, not sure of his intentions. I find him veeery creepy when he is angry. Plus i saw he has that same red aura like Haunter, just sayin, i like to make some theories. Is just a theorie! ;3

Possible, they would probably see it as aΒ profitable business strategy if they considered Shadow Pokemon to be worth a lot.

Not to mention (in the actual console games with Shadow Pokemon, anyway) they're more powerful than regular Pokemon too, so good to have on your side as well
