Description  I cannot take this anymore
I'm saying everything I've said before
All these words they make no sense
I find bliss in ignorance
Less I hear the less you'll say
But you'll find that out anyway
Just like before
Everything you say to me
Takes me one step closer to the edge
And I'm about to break
I need a little room to breathe
'Cause I'm one step closer to the edge
And I'm about to break
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

The dust swirled and kicked into his eyes but he stayed calm and collected, a monument of serenity in this round pen of chaos. The heavy loud bellows and high pitch squeals from the stallion did not reach his core of peace. Kojiro knew his presence would eventually impact the stallion in more positive way. Until then he would stand there and let him throw his tantrums until he realized he wouldn’t work on him. In His many years of horsemanship he had seen plenty of cases of neglect, but neglect on a wild horse was beyond cruel. This poor stallion had been torn from his herd and auctioned off. He had been lucky enough to escape a kill buyer but not so lucky as to avoid his circumstance. He was bought by a family who had never owned horses but the teenager had been adamant she wanted her own “wild mustang”. Her love of wild horses drove her to want a piece of her wild dreams…but she could not fathom what that truly meant. They were warned that he wasn’t starter material but dad and mom became offended at the accusations and became even more stubborn. He loaded like an angry bowling ball and came out like a cannon.

The family soon realized what they had done. The silly child called to him that first night to go into his stable…and stood there for a few hours till she stomped off in frustration. Even in heavy rain, the stallion stood stubbornly in the pasture. Eventually the family tired of his antics and hired the best “Breaker” money could buy. Well the only that broke that day was the idiots arm. The stallion had grabbed his forearm and threw the man a good six feet into the air before charging him out of his field.
And so there he sat for 2 years before Kojiro happened to see him as he was driving through the county to pick up a show property he had purchased. He pulled over and watched the stallion for a while before knocking on the family’s door. He clearly caught them off guard but he gave them a proposal they couldn’t refuse. He would trade them the beautiful graded paint gelding he had In his trailer for the crazed beast in their field. And after an hour of trying to get the stallion in the round pen…here is where Kojiro found himself. The stallion turned and charged straight at him and stopped inches from his nose huffing and puffing unable to comprehend that Kojiro hadn’t even flinched. And right there, in that moment when their eyes locked….the stallion knew this one would not be broken. This one was his equal.
