Description
From Naruto Shippuden.I'm having fun with traditional pensil and paper, though the motive is a bit grim. I'm not sure why, but I always enjoy drawing Shisui...
Uchiha Shisui (c)Β Masashi Kishimoto.

*Grins widely* Thank you! (again.) Shisui is my guilty pleasure. He's probably the one I like to draw the most. And it's just so sad the whole scene... And slightly morbid of course. Since he plucks out his eye in front of his best friend.Β

You know, ever since Shisui was first (for the lack of a better phrase)Β fleshed out in canon I've seen a lot of great Shisui fanart, some of which are very heart wrenching. But Christ on a Cheese Cracker, the amount of detail you put into this traditional drawing where even some digital art can't hold a candle to. Just... How? Are you even human?!
This has now become my new favorite Shisui art.

I'm so glad you like it! I drew this one night I couldn't sleep, and I never know exactly when I should stop. That night I just fell asleep and my neck hurt like hell the next morning, but at least I didn't go overboard with the drawing... Hopefully... Anyway; thank you so very much, Sukiyo18! Β

You're very welcome! It's a wonderful piece, I'm in awe that you were able to do that while you weren't able to sleep and it's still not what you consider 'going overboard'. I'd honestly love to see you go overboard on something and see what you could come up with.

Overboard is not a good thing at all It's when you draw something and you think it's going well so you just continue until you get careless and make a mistake. Like a line right over the eye, and when you try to erase the line your eraser leave an a smudge that just won't leave the paper, and then the whole face is ruined. Or when I make the mistake of trying to make a background. I wanted to here, but I'm no good at backgrounds so I'd probably ruin the whole thing while trying to make it. But luckily I fell asleep before I tried that here. Overboard is just not good... I'm really glad you like it though. Thank you!

Ah, yes I know all about that. Nope that's not good at all lol. Some of my better drawing ended up in the trash for mistakes like that, and when I redid them they weren't the same beautiful work. Or I remember in my early days I'd erase a line so hard that I actually disintegrate the paper's integrity. I never tore through it but I'd peel off layers of paper (it was really weird and I never understood how I did it- maybe because I used thicker paper? IDK)
