I chose to do a few of the Robins because, for the most part, they represent youth and light and hope amidst the darker protagonists of Gotham. If they were evil, it would tarnish the hope that a tragic childhood can be overcome.
Done in prismacolor pencils because it was colored mostly on the go/away from my computer. I also miss working on traditional art. 
The big chunk of black is supposed to give the impression of seeing the pic from behind the corner of another building. Since I feel like I have to explain that, I probably could have drawn it better.

Whether you draw or not, you can still spot mistakes that I might miss when looking at my work, so I very much appreciate it! I definitely agree with all of your points (*especially* about the "purpleish" hue on Dick, which I couldn't manage to correct). Your note about the shading/highlighting on the knee cap will be particularly noted next time around.

I don't really have any other detailed pieces like this one (my gallery is lots of head and full body shots), but I'll keep that in mind for when I do something more complex. ^^

Haha, most definitely. Originally, I had wanted to get Jason in there, but the anti-heroes are hard to pull an alignment reversal on.

Actually, I'm not sure what you get if you reverse Harley's alignment...I mean, she's evil, sure, but she's generally quite nice about it.
For that matter, Damian might be a moral improvement.

As for Harle, agreed. She's not so much aligned as she is infatuated. She goes as dark as her puddin' requires. If Joker was a nice guy, would she still have fallen for him?
